FIGHT
FROM
VICTORY
The battle is real  ·  The victory is won
2 Corinthians 10:3–5
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 (NIV)

The battle you won’t is the battle you can’t fight.

1

The Battle Is Real

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”1 Peter 5:8

Salvation doesn’t exempt you from the war — it you on the winning side.

He prowls a roaring lion — the roar is the weapon. Jesus is the Lion, and He holds the keys (Revelation 1:18).

Your battle is real — but it is not rare, and it is not abandonment (1 Peter 5:9).

Naming the battle is the first act of .

2

The Mind Is the Battlefield

Before the enemy touches your circumstances, he targets your thinking. He learned in Eden: he doesn’t need to overpower you if he can deceive you.

ochyrōma
Greek · “stronghold” · 2 Cor 10:4

A military fortress — the place a defeated enemy holes up to keep exerting influence after the war is lost.

A stronghold is a that has built walls. It doesn’t feel like a lie — it feels like “realism.”

noēma
Greek · “thought” · 2 Cor 10:5

The same word Paul uses for Satan’s schemes (2 Cor 2:11). The enemy’s primary weapon is a thought — delivered in your own voice.

The enemy’s favorite weapon: . It surgically removes your courage — defeat on an plan.

Interrogate every thought

  1. Is it — according to God’s Word?
  2. Where is this thought me?
  3. What does God actually say? Don’t just resist the lie — it. (Isaiah 26:3; Philippians 4:8)
3

The Victory Is Already Won

“And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”Colossians 2:15

The cross wasn’t a tragedy God salvaged — it was a triumph God orchestrated. Jesus the powers and authorities.

hypernikōmen
Greek · “more than conquerors” · Rom 8:37

Nikē = victory, with a supercharger bolted on: over-conquerors, overwhelming victory — declared in trouble, not after it.

We are than conquerors — “in ALL these things.” You can be in the fight and in the at the same time.

Worship in the battle isn’t denial — it’s defiance (Acts 16:25 — Paul and Silas at midnight).

I don’t fight FOR victory — I fight victory.

4

Pick Up Your Weapons

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”Ephesians 6:10–11

His power — your “put on.” And remember: we don’t fight people. We fight for people (Ephesians 6:12).

The front line, not the last resort. Pray in the Spirit. Eph 6:18 · Phil 4:6–7 · Jude 20
The sword of the Spirit — “It is written.” Spoken. Memorized. Eph 6:17 · Matt 4:1–11
Sing at your discouragement. One soundtrack at a time. Phil 4:6 · 1 Sam 16:23
Lions attack the isolated. Isolation is a strategy, not a side effect. 1 Pet 5:9 · Heb 3:13
sōphronismos
Greek · “sound mind” · 2 Tim 1:7

A whole, ordered, disciplined mind. God gave us power, love, and a sound mind — fear is not the Holy Spirit’s .

The strategy in one verse: Submit to God first. Resist the devil second. And he will flee (James 4:7).

The 7-Day Fight Plan
